Ellis Tech Participates in National Signing Day 2023

Every student deserves to be honored for committing to pursue a career in the skilled trades. Ellis Tech SkillsUSA celebrated SkillsUSA National Signing Day, May 4th, with 34 students signing “letters of intent” for a job offer or apprenticeship. 

 

Ellis Tech was selected as one of 10 student chapters across the country to be awarded by SkillsUSA a “swag” bundle valued at over $500 dollars. Events like ours are a part of a nationwide celebration showcasing the impact SkillsUSA programs have on addressing the U.S. skills gap. SkillsUSA National Signing Day celebrates our career and technical education students and acknowledges their commitment to a career in the skilled trades.
